This picture was taken by Phil Richmond in 2006 from the bottom of the hill in the Veterans Section of Pine Hills Cemetery.
It clearly is an moving sight to see the 7,200 graves from the monument with the 'Poppy Cross' placed on every grave by the Ladies Auxiliary and the cadets of Zone D5 Branches.

In the spring of 2009 the management of Pine Hills commissioned the moving of the monument and created a fitting tribute area to the Veterans of this nation that resting within Pine Hills Cemetery.
This picture is the new site of the monument taken from the bottom of the hill.
